Outpatient physical therapy is covered by CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield. Depending on your plan, a copay or a coinsurance may apply. Patients can contact CareFirst to find out their out-of-pocket cost.

Is a doctor referral needed?

Your plan may require a doctor referral, unless you have an open-access plan in which case a doctorreferral is not required. Please contact CareFirst for more details.

How Can We Help?

We are a CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield certified and approved outpatient physical therapy and rehab facility. Our therapists will assess your condition and prescribe a treatment plan to get you back to an active lifestyle. We will keep your referring physician, if you have one, updated of your progress, at least monthly, to make sure the medical necessity criterion set by CareFirst is met, and that CareFirst will cover the therapy expenses.
